What would you do if you saw a lost dog roaming around alone? I bet you’d stop and help. That what happened with Tyler Wilson, he saw a dog wandering around a gas station without his owner. He thought he’s lost and decided to help.

In a gas station in Kentucky, Wilson was filling up his car and the cute yellow lap approached him.

Wilson said to The Dodo, “I’ve seen the dog a couple of weeks before around that area. So when he came up to me at the gas station and sat next to me, I was like, ‘This dog has been lost for a while.’”

Thinking he was a lost dog, Wilson was relieved to see the dog was wearing a collar. Doing what any person would do, Wilson immediately checked his ID tag for phone number or address.
He thought he’s a lost dog. So, he decided to see his collar just like anyone would do. He wanted to check his ID number, phone number, and address. However, he was surprised of what he saw!

Wilson did not find any owner’s information, the dog tag said, “My name is Dew. I am not lost. I like to roam. Tell me to go home.”
“Once I saw it, we both looked at each other and I knew he was OK. It was so cute,” Wilson stated.
He was happy that Dew was safe and is not in any dangerous state. Then, he told him to go home, and they became friends after that.
“I pet him and even hugged him. He got me a little wet from the rain, but it was worth it,” said Wilson.

Dew is famous for the people of the city for being that cheerful dog that loves to hang out. And also interacts with them. Dew spends his time roaming around but usually returns to his family’s farm at the end of the day. People of the city got used to that he’s not a lost dog and he just loves to have fun.
Therefore, they’ve known that they can’t tame Dew’s adventurous soul. So, they just let him do what he wants.

As the family stated, “Dew loves to make new friends. Fortunately, Dew is chipped and wears a GPS tracker so when his sneaky little self gets out and about, we always know where he is! He just likes to spread the love.”
“I am going to see the owners again soon, this week or next, to see Dew,” Wilson said.
Dew even has an account on Facebook so people can keep up with his daily adventures!
