It is stories like these that make one wonder about the world we are living in. The paradox in humanity, with some being a good Samaritan and others being the reason we need a good Samaritan have always confused us. Take this for example- a 5-week old pit bull puppy was found badly burnt in a trash can after Coachella.
A passerby found the injured pitbull and took her to a vet. While one can ridicule Coachella staff for their mismanagement, it isn’t going to work. Instead, one needs to praise the passerby who took action and pray that the injured pit bull puppy recovers soon.

It was Alejandra Zazueta’s mother who found the injured pit bull and called her. Alejandra then called the Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation to take care of the puppy. Incidentally, she named the pitbull puppy ‘Hope’.
The rescue has mentioned that the pitbull was injured due to being burnt by a metal object or something similar. Her tail had been partially docked and she had suffered third-degree burns. Although there is a high chance that the injured pit bull puppy might never walk again, Brian Mcgrath of the Mcgrath Veterinary Center believes otherwise. Hope is being attended to 24 hours of the day, and everyone hopes she will make a recovery, as reported by the People.
Isn’t that fantastic?
Well, Zazueta has also mentioned that she would be taking care of the injured pit bull after she gets discharged off the hospital. Even if the puppy is paralyzed, Zazueta would still take her home, and give her all the care that she deserves.

But she has also sworn to find the heinous people who put the poor puppy in such a terrible condition. And, this isn’t the first time something like this has taken place in Coachella. She has taken it up with the authorities to find surveillance videos of the culprit, whilst also pleading the public to help them out here.
And, is it too much to ask?
We hope Zazueta and Coachella find the people responsible and prosecute them. They have instituted a $10,000 reward for anyone who will come forward.
