The Franklin Police Department usually collects toys for the children these days in order to give them to The Santa Foundation charity.

Mill told the station that when Ben found toys, he thought that he owns all of them so he took them.

Ben got caught carrying a doll in his carrier and he attempted to avoid them and run.

Then, chasing Ben ended up leading to his cache where he hides all his toys but they’re all has his slobber.

Officers had to replace all of these toys as they cannot give them to kids with all that slobber.

We learned an extremely valuable lesson today. When you have a classroom full of toys ready to be shipped off to the Santa Foundation, you should…1. Close the door to the classroomOr 2. Keep the toys elevated If not, a golden retriever will slowly hoard them throughout the day and bring them back to his lair. Thanks to Officer Cusson for capturing this larceny on camera.

Officers banned Ben from the toy room as a punishment for what he did. But they did not charge him with theft.

The department claimed that they have learned a great lesson. When you have a room full of toys ready to be donated to a charity. You have to lock it or to put the toys in a higher place. And if your’e not cautious and following these instructions. A dog will find them, take them and put them in his own cache.
