Actually, studies showed that dog size doesn’t influence sleep quality.

Also, petting a pup reduces blood pressure. And just after a few minutes of petting your beloved baby, you’ll be sleeping without any anxiety. However, the Journal of Behavioural Medicine magazine had a study that measured blood pressure for 60 males and females while they are petting a pet, and while talking to someone. The study showed that blood pressure was lower when they were petting the puppy. In contrast, it was higher when they were talking to a human person. So, at night, you can relax by petting your dog, it’s a win-win situation.

Furthermore, sleeping next to your dog can be beneficial to you and him. It reduces stress or any bad feelings. Studies showed that having a dog can reduce the levels of cortisol and increase oxytocin. Cortisol is the hormone that causes stress, while oxytocin is the hormone that increases pleasant feelings in humans.
